Founded in 1969, The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a membership based organization comprised of leading media and entertainment figures from over 50 countries and 500 companies from all sectors of television including internet, mobile and technology. The Academy was chartered with a mission to recognize excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States, and it presents the International Emmy® Award, also known as a TV industry equivalent of Oscar Academy Award.

Membership in The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is an important achievement and great honor not only for me personally, but also for the company I’m heading. The membership will open up lots of new opportunities for us, like access to unique information and contacts with core international TV industry players. It will lead our company’s services to the brand new level and will help to improve the national media industry development and its integration to the global market. I’m very proud to join the leading TV professionals community”, - comments Victoria Yarmoshchuk.

Every November the Academy produces The International Emmys World Television Festival and the International Emmy Awards Gala in New York City. The Festival screens the current year's International Emmy-nominated programs and features the world-class producers and directors who speak about their work. The International Emmy Awards Gala takes place the day after the Festival, awarding the International Emmy. This black-tie event attracts over 1,000 major figures in broadcast, entertainment and media from around the world.

It stands to mention, that the Academy’s members are provided with a range of preferences, namely:

  • members can attend all Board Meetings, panels, and cocktails that the Academy holds worldwide;
  • hosting the semi-final judging of the International Emmy® Award, which is held in 12 cities of the world every Summer etc.

Therefore Victoria’s designation as a Member of The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will discover new horizons not only for MRM company, but also for Ukrainian TV industry in general, as far as this unprecedented event will foster the national market development by establishing cross border collaboration.
