KYIV MEDIA WEEK has become a partner of the 10th international conference on Computer Graphics CG EVENT EURO 2012

10^th international conference on Computer Graphics CG EVENT EURO 2012 will take place on 8^th of September, 2012 in Kyiv in partnership with the KYIV MEDIA WEEK, an international forum aimed at developing professional networking in the media industry. CG EVENT EURO 2012 is devoted to computer graphics and multimedia, image and video processing, including animation, computer games, cinema SPFX, architectural rendering, physics simulation, realistic rendering, etc. Traditionally the event is held in Moscow but this year due to the 10^th anniversary of the conference it will be carried out in Kyiv.

The main issues raised at the conference are difficult special effects and animation technology. The event will unveil secrets of producing recently released blockbusters Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter and Avatar. Members of the conference can attend a meeting headed by Timur Bekmambetov Russian filmdirector of Kazakh origin. Another specialist in visual effects Sergei Nevshupov will share his experience during his work for Weta Digital (digital visual effects company based in New Zealand), and his participation in such projects as Avatar and The Lord of the Rings.
